Aer Lingus’s own documents give different sizes
The inch figures and the centimetre figures do not match exactly, and the centimetre figures differ between Aer Lingus’s documents. BagCheck checks your bag against every published size: within all of them is a size fit, over all of them is too large, and anything in between needs confirmation with the airline.
These are physical measurements, not a promise that an overhead bag is included with every ticket.

Transatlantic itineraries include the 10 kg cabin bag. On European routes, Saver customers must purchase cabin carriage or check the 10 kg bag free at the airport; qualifying fares include it.
From 3 March 2026, Aer Lingus Regional follows the common 10 kg carry-on policy. Published inch and centimetre dimensions differ; each statement is evaluated separately. All mainline and Regional customers may bring a small personal item free of charge.
